Nano infusion. Micro Technique – Massive Transformation.

In the search for healthier, more radiant skin, I see more and more people  turning to innovative treatments that promise effective results with minimal downtime. One such treatment gaining popularity is a new technique you will spot on my menu at Curated Skin and Wellness, NanoInfusion. It may be a technology that you’re not familiar with, or you may think of it as the “poor cousin” of Microneedling. While microneedling is famous for its many benefits and impressive results, I have found it can be intimidating to some people who are unfamiliar with more invasive treatments, simply hate the thought of needles or are looking for a more relaxing treatment that can deliver extraordinary results.

So, I have introduced this non-invasive procedure that offers a wide range of benefits, making it a fantastic option for those looking to improve their skin’s appearance.

What is Nano Infusion?

NanoInfusion (sometimes referred to as nano- needling, although  it does not involve any needles.) The nano cartridges for the device I use have either stainless steel or silicon pyramid shaped cones, ( the cartridge is chosen according to your skin condition and needs,) each of these cones are approximately just 1/3 the size of a human body hair and create tiny channels in the top layer of the skin. These tiny channels are invisible to the naked eye, and allow active serums to have up to 97% better absorption. I take advantage of this, using targeted serums to do some of the “heavy lifting” when treating skin conditions, effectively addressing  and ensuring next level results for many skin concerns such as pigmentation, dehydration, acne, sensitivity and dullness.

What Can I expect in a NanoInfusion Treatment?

Your skin will be assessed and then cleansed and either an enzymatic or AHA exfoliation will be performed.

Based on your specific needs, a specialised serum is selected based on your skin type and concerns. The serum will often contain a blend of vitamins, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and other powerful ingredients aimed at rejuvenating and repairing the skin. The serums used are tailored to your specific skin concerns, and we may need to use different serums in different areas of your skin, this total customisation is very beneficial whether you’re looking to address fine lines, dryness, acne or uneven tone.

During the procedure, a handheld device is used to create tiny, barely perceptible micro-channels in the skin. These micro-channels facilitate the delivery of the serum , effectively bypassing the skin’s barrier without risking damage, meaning NanoInfusion allows for better penetration of topical products. This means that serums and other skincare treatments can be more effective both during and post-treatment, maximising their benefits.

The skin’s natural healing process kicks in as it begins to repair the micro-channels. This not only enhances the absorption of the serum but also stimulates cellular communication, promoting a healthier complexion.

Many clients notice immediate results, with improvements in skin texture and hydration immediately after the treatment, with continued benefits over time as cellular health increases.

Benefits of NanoInfusion

For me, one of the standout features of NanoInfusion is the minimal downtime associated with the procedure. Clients may experience slight redness or sensitivity immediately after the treatment, but these effects typically subside within a few hours. This makes NanoInfusion an ideal option for those with busy lifestyles who want to see results without significant interruptions.

Another advantage of NanoInfusion is its safety for all skin types. Unlike some more aggressive treatments, it is generally safe for even sensitive skin, all year rond. Because it focuses on the epidermis and minimises trauma, it reduces the risk of complications or adverse reactions.

Every individual’s skin is unique, and I find NanoInfusion can be tailored to meet specific needs.

Treating Aging Skin

As we are exposed to external aggressors and stress, our skin starts to age, gradually losing collagen and elasticity, resulting in sagging and the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. NanoInfusion stimulates the body’s natural healing process, promoting collagen and elastin production. This increased metabolism can lead to firmer, plumper skin and a more youthful appearance. The treatment also encourages cellular turnover, helping to refresh and revitalise aging skin. With NanoInfusion, I can also help stimulate collagen production in the skin by safely infusing collagen promoting ingredients  through these tiny nano channels,  helping to stimulate cellular chatter that intensifies collagen promoting pathways in the skin, effectively reducing the appearance of fine lines, especially for small targeted areas, and improving the tone/texture of the skin. Many people also find that nano needling effectively reduces the appearance of enlarged pores.

Addressing Acne and  Scars

For individuals with acne-prone skin, NanoInfusion can be a game changer with the increased absorption of topical treatments helping manage acne breakouts more effectively without any further aggression to a skin that is compromised.

The treatment helps to break down scar tissue and promotes the regeneration of healthy skin cells. By improving skin texture and reducing the appearance of acne scars, nano needling can enhance overall skin clarity and smoothness.

Soothing Rosacea

Rosacea is characterised by redness and chronic inflammation, and can be challenging to treat as it has many triggers, both internal and external. NanoInfusion’s minimal invasiveness makes it a suitable option for rosacea-prone skin. The treatment can help to improve skin barrier function and promote healing, reducing redness and irritation. Furthermore, the enhanced absorption of serums that target inflammatory pathways and markers can provide additional relief and along with hydration will help to calm inflamed skin.

Why NanoInfusion?

I introduced NanoInfusion to the menu at Curated Skin and Wellness as a versatile and effective treatment for anyone looking to enhance their skin’s appearance. With minimal downtime, improved product absorption, and benefits for all skin types, it’s no wonder that this innovative procedure is gaining traction in the world of skincare. Whether you’re dealing with aging skin, acne scars, or rosacea, NanoInfusion may provide the solution you’ve been seeking.

I am finding it suits almost everyone as it is gentle and safe but very effective.

It’s suitable for a beginner getting to know the beauty of the needling world. Someone with an active lifestyle, looking to get a glow in minutes. A mum with just so little skincare me-time and looking to get treatment with great results for her skin. And even for someone who is familiar with microneedling, and looking to boost results between microneedling sessions.

If you’re seeking a non-invasive way to rejuvenate your skin, enhance your skincare routine, and are curious about NanoInfusion, don’t hesitate to contact me at Curated Skin and Wellness to learn more.
